ABOUT ME:

Completed undergraduate from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. Following that, I embarked on my journey to England in search of world-class training in mental health. I was successful in my endeavor and have obtained more than 14 years of rich and valuable experience in varied Psychiatric subspecialties like General Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Learning Disability Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Liaison Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry. I have worked across multiple hospital and community settings in the UK.

Whilst working in mental health, I understood there is a huge unmet mental health need for the under 16 age group. Not only that, I strongly believe in early identification and provision of targeted intervention before the young mind runs the risk of developing full-blown mental illness. Pursuing my passion further, I completed my super specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UK.

CONDITIONS TREATED:

I have rich working experience in dealing with varied childhood mental health conditions such as ADHD, ASD, Tourette’s, Developmental Disorders, Learning Difficulties, Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, OCD, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Eating disorders, and severe mental illness like Early-onset Psychosis and Bipolar Illness. I also have obtained valuable experience in treating mental illness secondary to physical health conditions like Epilepsy, Diabetes to name a few.
