8 tips to keep your skin healthy?

Skin care is not only related to keeping your skin clean but also keeping your entire internal system healthy. Some of the ways by which we can keep our skin healthy are:

  1. Avoid Stress: Stress brings in a lot of problems including skin problems. Keep yourself happy and avoid stress as much as you can.
  2. Eat Healthy: Healthy eating shows up on your face. Eating lot of vegetables and fruits will show up on your face and same is with the junk. The more junk you eat, the more will be the skin problems. If you like to snack often, change with healthy ways of snacking than junk.
  3. Get enough sleep: For a healthy skin and no dark circles, it is important that you atleast sleep for 8 hrs during night. Staying up late in the night for many days and not getting enough sleep can result in poor skin quality and dark circles.
  4. Cover your face during pollution: Pollution can lead to acne, blackheads, whiteheads and lot of similar problems. Avoiding pollution is another difficult thing to do these days, so you can overcome this issue by keeping your face covered when in pollution. Wash face as soon as you can.
  5. Avoid strong sun–rays: Use sun-screen lotion when out in sun. Cover your face with a scarf for additional protection.
  6. Avoid lot of spicy food: Everyone has cravings for spicy food but too much of spicy food can cause pimples. Spicy food can cause stomach troubles and that shows up on your skin.
  7. Avoid bad habits like smoking and alcohol: Too much of alcohol and regular smoking habit also shows up on your skin. Avoid as much as you can.
  8. Drink lot of water: The best way to get clear and glowing skin is drinking a lot of water. You should aim at drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day. Water helps you remove unwanted acids from your body which purifies it and provides glowing and clear skin.
