Potty Training is an important stage of every kids’ life where parents play the main role. They provide kids with the right motivation, strategy & direction. They must have patience and time to train their kids for this important process of Human life.

Every Kid has a different pace to learn this training, depending on the mutual coordination of both kid and the parents. Parents shall encourage their kids to learn this soon and on the other hand, they can also reward the kid whenever he does that.

Rewards can be in the form of Applauds or eatable or maybe a new toy. The child must be focused & dedicated towards this training and you need to ensure there are no distractions for the child.

What is the right time for Potty Training?

The right age for this training often varies for different kids, some learn this at an early stage and some may take a longer time if they are too habitual for the diapers. It is mostly seen, the right age to start this training is between 18 months to 30 months depending upon the child. On the other hand, your child will give you signs of physical & behavioral changes in their body.

Some common signs that your child is ready for potty training include:

  • Walking
  • Sitting
  • Understanding your Behaviour
  • The child may be curious for the bathroom
  • Child indicating that he or she is about to urinate or defecate
  • Pulling clothes or Diaper Up & Down

Whenever you notice these signs in your child, you can consult your child specialist for recommendations, and try to know about your child’s development.

The doctor can help you understand if your child is ready for the training or need some more time. Doctors usually can give a few tips which can be helpful for you and your child.

Choose a high fiber diet for the kids, whenever you plan this training. It helps to improve bowel movements in the body, toddlers must have 19 grams of fiber daily. Some good high-fiber fruits & vegetables include:

  • Apples
  • Pears
  • Green Peas
  • Bananas Brown rice
  • Almonds
  • Broccoli
  • Oatmeal

Why is Timing Important?

Timing plays the most crucial role in this training. You need to ensure that this training is started when your kid is physically fit & fine and shows no signs of illness. Never pressurize your child for this training, rather make it a fun session and you will get better results.
